Our Process

1st Step:  Schedule an Appointment

You are encouraged to come to our showroom or call to schedule in-home visit.  If you are doing new construction or a major renovation, the 1st meeting should be at our showroom along with your architectural plans.  If you are renovating and the walls are measurable, the 1st meeting should be at your house.

 

2nd Step:  1st Meeting 

We will go through a “Questionnaire” which is essentially a wish-list; any pictures you have accumulated are always helpful to see your taste/color sense.   We will both ask questions, share ideas and hopefully will have a handle on your likes & dislikes.  It is also very helpful to discuss budget and to make preliminary selections so pricing is possible.   If we are doing an in-home visit, we will take measurements at that time. If you would like to proceed then we will ask for a retainer (non-refundable). The retainer amount is based upon the size of your job, and is usually approximately 5% of the overall budget. And of course, if you choose to go ahead with the project with us, the retainer will be applied to the purchase price.

 

3rd Step:  Presentation

We will review our preliminary plan with you.  As we go through the plan we will mark up possible changes and notes.  We will also review the preliminary pricing with you per your selections from the last meeting.  You will receive a copy of the plan and we will continue refining your design (up to three preliminary plans). 

 

4th Step:  Our Agreement Includes

Upon refining your design you will be given a final drawing with dimensioned floor and elevation plans.  We will also provide you with a lighting plan if needed.  Our Contract with you will have:  plans, selection sheet and cabinet manifest.  All drawings by us are prepared adhering to the National Kitchen & Bath Association guidelines to assure the highest level of quality for your home.
